Sheduled detectors (beta version)

2011.11.20 06:24

Under settings menu we’ve added Shedules section. In there you can create shedules that will start/end you detector at specific times.

There are 3 types of shedules are available:

  • Custom date – you can enter exact day and time to start and stop detector. This type of shedule works only once;
  • Daily – you can enter start time and end time. Such detectors will start every day at desired time;
  • Weekly – these are almost equal to the Daily type, but you can select week days to start detector at.

To use created shedule you should go to the Run Cammster section. There at the bottom of the page will be list of available shedules. You can select one and leave the page open so detector could start when time comes.

It’s very important that you leave the page open, otherwise Cammster wont be able to start.

You’ll get notifications when shedule starts, ends, does not start at time, disconnects etc.

We’re waiting for your feedback about shedules!

Solving problem with allow button

2011.08.01 06:07

Some of our users experiencing problems cannot click button “Allow” in Flash Player, when they try to run Cammster.

Allow button

This problem is concerned with positioning of the Flash Player in different browsers.

Here is a list of other possible solutions:
1. Set focus on Allow button with Tab and try to press Enter.
2. Click here
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.html
then in the little box that loads click the computer with the eye, find the
site you want to allow and click the always allow option
3. Resize the browser window width a few times until you land on an even
number width.
4. Zoom out of the page then click the button.
NOTE – You may need to click around the area of the button as the mouse
co-ordinates are not mapped well to the actual mouse position.
Once you have clicked allow/deny remember to reset zoom level otherwise you
may not see any future allow/deny dialogs as the SWF may not be large
enough.
5. Adobe recommends to update the flash player to fix this bug.
